'Release The Mandate To The Youths, We Will Solve The Nigeria's Problems, We Have The Solution At Hand' - Sen. Babawale Jamiu POPOOLA
Earlier today, on the invite of Dr. Lamina Kamiludeen, the Senator representing Osun Central Senatorial District at Nigeria Youth Parliament (NYP), Senator Babawale Jamiu POPOOLA was on a leadership panel with the Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties and Regional Integration, Honourable Badmus Olalekan Abdul-rahaman; Comrade Ayodeji Oloogun; Chairman Dipson Plastics among others where he discussed the impact of Youths in the democracy of Nigeria.
As the senator representing Osun Central Senatorial District at Nigeria Youth Parliament (NYP) Abuja, he made it known to the whole people present that, the era of the old system of governing the nation's affairs has gone, the Youths just have to wise up and unanimously agreed to input some young, vibrant and versatile youths in to power to change the change of narration through their votes. He exposed to them the importance of giving the mandate of power to the Youths. Even though in the presence of the Honourable Commissioner and his cohort, they acknowledged the fact that he was able to tackled the topic while on seat.
However, while the Honorable Commissioner for Special Duties and Regional Integration, Honourable. Badmus Olalekan Abdul-rahaman
is speaking, he commends the efforts put in place in ensuring the Youths participation in State politics. He therefore cited alot of scenarios where the State Government directly involved the Youths by empowering them by funds and Intellectual engagement among others.
Senator Babawale, who was able to managed the stage in a well unique and experienced form emphasized on the rationality behind the involvement of Youths in National politics.
In a brief between him and OneForAll Media Team, he was asked about his preparation to take the mantle of Speakership in the Nigeria Youth Parliament (NYP), Abuja. He said, "Well, we have put many things in place and I think every necessities have been made. We are still confident in God that all things are possible, but on our own part, we are good to God.'
